For what purpose do we process your personal data?
In accordance with the provisions of European Regulation 2016/679, General Data Protection, as well as any other applicable national law, we hereby inform you that SAICA processes the data you provide for the purpose of correctly managing candidacies in the open selection processes for which you apply, consisting of:
- Managing requests for information;
- Managing curriculums, letters of presentation and other documents relating to the selection processes
How long will we keep your data?
Your data will be kept in our databases for the duration of the selection process, and:
- If the selection process ends in employment, your data will be stored for the duration of the employment relationship and subsequently for the period required by law.
- Otherwise, the data will be kept for the duration of the process and, at most, for 2 years following receipt of the CV, in the event that you have given us your consent to keep your CV in our databases for future vacancies.
What is the legitimacy for the processing of your data?
The legal basis for the processing of your data is the execution of pre-contractual measures or the intention to conclude a contract.
Likewise, if you have shared your CV for future selection processes, we will process your data on the basis of your consent.
To whom will your data be communicated?
Likewise, the data will not be shared with third parties, except with supplier companies whose intervention is necessary for the above purposes. Likewise, if you consent, your CV may be shared with other companies of the SAICA Group for future vacancies.
In addition, your data may also be transferred to public bodies and authorities (administrative or judicial) in those cases in which a legal regulation establishes it.
What are your rights when you provide your data and how can you exercise them?
You have the right to access your personal data and to request the rectification of any inaccurate data or, if appropriate, request their erasure when, among other reasons, the data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected.
In certain circumstances you may ask for the processing of your data to be limited, in which case we will only store them for the exercise or defence of claims.
For reasons related to your particular situation, you may object to the processing of the same. SAICA will stop processing the data, except for compelling legitimate reasons, or the exercise or defence of possible claims.
Likewise, you can exercise the right to data portability, as well as withdraw the consents provided at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent prior to its withdrawal.
