For what purpose do we process your personal data?

 

In accordance with the provisions of European Regulation 2016/679, General Data Protection, as well as any other applicable national law, we hereby inform you that SAICA processes the data you provide for the purpose of correctly managing candidacies in the open selection processes for which you apply, consisting of:

 

  • Managing requests for information;
  • Managing curriculums, letters of presentation and other documents relating to the selection processes

 

How long will we store your data?

 

You data will be stored in our databases for the time the selection process lasts, and:

 

  • If the selection process ends in employment, your data will be stored for the duration of the employment relationship and subsequently for the period required by law.
  • Otherwise, you data will be stored for the duration of the process and for 3 years following the end of the process, as well as the period required to comply with legal obligations.

 

What are the legal grounds for processing your data?

 

The legal basis for processing your data is your consent provided by voluntarily submitting your curriculum (a clearly affirmative action) in relation to the processing of your data for managing candidacies in the selection processes for which you apply.

 

Which recipients will your data be communicated to?

 

Your personal data may be transferred to Grupo SAICA companies for our own internal administrative purposes in relation to personnel selection processes of these companies.

 

Furthermore, your data may be transferred to public bodies and authorities (administrative or legal) if this is established by a statutory regulation.

 

What are your rights when you provide your data and how can you exercise them?

 

You have the right to access your personal data and to request the rectification of any inaccurate data or, if appropriate, request their erasure when, among other reasons, the data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected.

 

In certain circumstances you may ask for the processing of your data to be limited, in which case we will only store them for the exercise or defence of claims. 

 

You have the right to object to your data being processed for reasons related to your particular situation. SAICA will cease to process your data except for compelling legitimate grounds, or to exercise or defend possible claims.

 

In addition, you may exercise your right to data portability and withdraw your consent at any time, without this affecting the lawfulness of processing based on the consent given prior to its withdrawal.
